Instances - Highest Memory Utilization Report

Optimize > Sizing Optimization > Highest Memory Utilization

 

Use this report to find the highest utilized instance within the specified time range.

Using the Metric filter, results can be based on sum of average or maximum memory utilization and swap utilization. Use the Higher Than filter to define the range of the results.

 

Select a Date Range.

 

Select Tags to include in the report.

 

Filters

 

Field Description
Account Name The account or subscription name.
Region Region the resource is hosted.
Availability Zone

AWS isolated locations within a region.

Instance Type

Select the instance type.

Platform

The operating system.

Spot Whether the AWS instance is running as Spot or On-Demand.
Security Group Select the security group.

 


Extended Filters

Metric - Average, Maximum
More Than - Select 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, or 100% to define the range of results.
State - Running, Halted, Terminated.
Limit - Select the maximum number of rows to display in the report.

Fields Description
Tags View the list of tags of the selected instance.
Memory Utilization (GB) View the memory utilization of the selected instance.  Click Zoom In to open the full report.
Memory Utilization

View the percentage of memory utilization of the selected instance. Click Zoom In to open the full report.

CPU Utilization

View the CPU utilization for the selected instance. Click Zoom In to open the full report.

Network Input Traffic

View the network input traffic. Click Zoom In to open the full report.

Network Output Traffic View the network output traffic. Click Zoom In to open the full report.
