Introduction to Asset Reports
Asset reports provide detailed information, usage and performance results for your cloud assets. This includes trending and utilization analysis of your instances and storage.
There are three types of S3 reports: Scan-based, Billing-based, and Scan- and Billing-based. Due to the very large size of some S3 buckets, Cloudyn may take a long time to complete scanning.
- To view your S3 bucket scan status, see the S3 Scan Status report.
- To provide results for S3 users whose scan is not completed, see S3 Billing based reports. Billing-based reports are updated daily and based on AWS billing files.
Tip: For your convenience, Scan or Billing based is included in the title of many of the S3 reports. Others have an option within the report to choose results that are Scan- or Billing-based using the Policy filter.
