The Instances Utilization Over Time report provides a breakdown of CPU or Memory utilization over time for all of your instances.
The Instances Utilization Over Time report provides a grouped breakdown of CPU or Memory utilization over time for your instances. Using the aggregation filter, results can be viewed by minimum, average, or maximum utilization.
This report allows you to view the utilization of all machines broken down by percentage. You can select the intervals to use (5%, 10%, 20% or 25%) to determine if the machines are under-utilized, over utilized or optimally utilized. Hover over the line item to view utilization results based on the selected filters.
Use this report to:
- Analyze underutilized or over-utilized machines. The default is utilization.
- Find the number of instances whose maximum utilization never exceeds a certain threshold.
Select a Date Range.
Select Tags to include in the report.
Groups and Filters
|Utilization||The percentage (range) which the instance was utilized.|
|Provider||The cloud provider to which the assets and expenses are associated.|
Select a service or show all.
The account or subscription name.
Region the resource is hosted.
|Availability Zone||AWS isolated locations within a region.|
|Instance Type||Select the instance type.|
|Platform||The operating system.|
|State||Current state of the instance. Activated, Terminated, Stopped.|
Metric - Memory Utilization or CPU Utilization
Interval Size - 5%, 10%, 20% or 25%
Aggregation - Average, Maximum, Medium
